ENAP chooses Novis’ SAP AMS service

Empresa Nacional del Petróleo (ENAP) is a Chilean state-owned public company, whose primary business line is the exploration, production, refining, and commercialization of hydrocarbon and its derivatives.

ENAP conducted a tendering process in early 2018 to select a support and maintenance service provider for their entire suite of SAP systems in Chile, Ecuador, Argentina, and Egypt.

Esteban Villaseca, CIO at TICA (Subgerencia de Tecnologías de la Información, Comunicaciones y Automatización) and José Merino, Services Manager at TICA, agree that “We selected Novis’ proposal because we are acquainted with their track record. We have had successful experiences with their services, such as a SAP upgrade and a HANA migration. We need a solid and reliable partner because, apart from what we already have in operation, our roadmap includes 15 SAP projects in the next three years”.

The 7 x 24 service is already in operation, and must process incidents and requirements for the SAP ERP, SAP PI, SAP PO, SAP BPC, Solution Manager, Success Factors, Ariba, and Lumira modules, among others.
